The Public Service Commission has established a public hearing in Docket No. 2022-89-G, related to Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc.’s filing for adjustment of its rates.

Piedmont Natural Gas Company, Inc. is requesting a rate increase and changes to certain terms and conditions of its gas service, with the company stating that the average monthly bill impact of its proposed rate increase is 6.2% for residential customers and 1.7% for commercial customers. If you have an opinion on this proposal, the Public Service Commission wants to hear from you at their public hearing on Monday, July 25th.

The public hearing will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 25th. If needed, the hearing will continue on Wednesday, July 27th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Those interested in testifying must do so by preregistering before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022. To preregister, you can do one of the following:
