Commissioner Clyburn Takes Oath of Office for FCC Position

On Monday, August 3, 2009, PSC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn was sworn in as a member of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The ceremony took place in Columbia with the Honorable Matthew J. Perry, Jr. administering the oath of office. Commissioner Clyburn joins the other four members of the FCC and will take up residence in Washington, D.C. We wish her the best in her new appointment.
